Winter weather is upon us. There are many Pennsylvanians who could use help in paying their energy bills. Your donation can assist needy households to keep their gas and electric service on this winter. Consider donating to your company’s hardship funds. 1. If not already signed up to donate to the fund, send a check (separate from your bill payment) payable to: $1 Energy Fund.
2. Check the box on the back of your monthly gas bill and you will be enrolled for monthly donations.
3. Call 1-888-460-4332 to request a pledge card for monthly bill donations.

Help people without heat or light by donating to the Dollar Energy fund. Please add $1 to your monthly gas payment. Notes:
Duquesne Light donates $1 for every dollar you donate. All of your donation goes to help local people. Not one penny goes to administrative costs. Those are covered by Duquesne Light and other corporations.

1. Pledge by checking the $1, $5, or $10 box on the front of your bill payment coupon. Equitable will add that pledge amount to your monthly bill.
2. Send checks for a one-time donation, made out to $1 Energy Fund, and mail to Equitable Gas.
Notes:
Equitable Gas matches customer donations to the $1 Energy Fund up to $200,000. Each dollar you donate goes directly to help needy families with winter heating bills. Other costs are paid separately by Equitable Gas.

Without signing up, our system will not recognize that the extra dollar is for the hardship fund.
