What is Universal Service?
All utility customers, regardless of their economic circumstances, are entitled to utility service at a reasonable price. Each utility company has programs available to customers, who are on a limited or fixed income, to assist them with utility bills. Some of these programs might include bill payment assistance and weatherization services.
